OFFICIAL EXAMS

Increasingly, companies are demanding official certificates from employees and candidates for jobs. By far the most recognised examination worldwide is the First Certificate, offered by the prestigious University of Cambridge (ESOL Examinations). Cambridge School has an unrivalled record for preparing students for the exam. As the largest language academy in the Vallès we have the resources and the specialised, native teacher know-how to give students the extra help they need to pass the exam. Hundreds of students have taken advantage of our famous 3-month intensive exam preparation classes and mock examinations to help them obtain this valuable addition to their CV.

The Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English

This is a very advanced exam for adults and is usually taken by people who have been studying English for many years and who have maybe lived in an English-speaking country for a while or who have a lot of contact with English-speaking people.

The Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English.

This exam is an advanced exam for adults and people in their late teens. It is usually taken after at least 10 years of studying English.

The Cambridge First Certificate in English.

This exam is an upper intermediate exam for adults and teenagers and is perhaps the most well-known Cambridge exam. Students usually need to have been studying English for at least 7 years before they take this exam.

The Cambridge Preliminary English Test

This exam is usually taken by teenagers and is an intermediate level exam.

The Cambridge Key English Test

This is a pre- intermediate exam for students in their early teens.

The Cambridge Mover exam

This is an exam specially designed for young learners in the 9-11 age group.

The Cambridge Business English Certificates

These exams are for adults who use English at work or who might need to in the future. There are three different levels: Preliminary (intermediate level), Vantage (upper intermediate level) and Higher (advanced level).

 
For students who are doing official examinations, we offer intensive extra exam classes in the weeks leading up to their exam to help to ensure that the students are as well-prepared as possible. We also offer them the chance to do a whole exam under exam conditions. The costs of supervising and marking the exam are assumed by Cambridge School and so this service is completely free for students.
