If you would like to apply for work at Cambridge School, we would be very happy to consider your application.
First make sure that you have the following minimum requirements:
If you want to teach English with us, you should be a native English speaker.
You should have the Cambridge ESOL 'Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages' (CELTA) or equivalent.
Candidates with the Cambridge ESOL DELTA or teachers who already have some English language teaching experience would be particularly welcome.
If you have worked in the word of business or with young learners in other contexts other than teaching, this will be regarded favourably.
If you want to teach another language with us, requirements are more flexible but you should ideally have done a language teaching course with a practical element.
We prefer applicants who are enthusiastic, hard-working, creative, and who like working in a team.
If you fulfil the application requirements, you should next send your CV by e-mail making sure that you include a photograph, and if you have recently finished a CELTA course or equivalent, mentioning the exact grade that you were awarded. You can send the CV at any time in the year but the best time to do it is in May, June, July or September, which is when we do most of our recruiting.
If we feel that you might be suitable, we will contact you and arrange an interview. Interviews are usually done face-to-face but we occasionally do telephone interviews if candidates have applied from outside Spain.
