Job Opportunities

If you want to look for a job after the course, Cambridge School will help you in a number of ways:
-
As a major CELTA centre, we receive information about job vacancies from organisations
all over the world, which we pass on to our trainees.
-
When you finish the CELTA course, we add your e-mail address to our 'jobs distribution list'.
We then send you details of all job vacancies sent to us until you ask to be removed from the list.
-
We have a number of our ex-CELTA trainees working in our centres. We may well be able to offer you work too
depending on how you do on the course, the time of the year and whether we have any vacancies.
-
We have a special session on the course in which we will give you advice about how to write a suitable CV
and letter of application and how to give a good impression in a TEFL job interview.
-
We will inform you about the kind of salary and conditions you can expect in language schools in Spain.
-
We will let you know how likely it is that you will be able to find work. In fact, it is reasonably easy
to find work in Spain if you have the Cambridge ESOL CELTA qualification but, of course, it depends on the time of year.
-
We also give you a list of other schools in Catalonia to which you can apply for work, with contact details.
-
We will, of course, give you a progress report and certificate if you pass the course, which you can
show to prospective employers, and we are always happy to give you a reference if you need one.
