Meet our Trainers

Steve Norman is the Director of Studies and Teacher Training for the Cambridge School centres and is in charge of the Cambridge School CELTA courses. He has been teaching EFL in Spain since 1984 and obtained the Cambridge DELTA (Diploma in English Language Teaching to Adults) in 1987. He has had a number of articles published in EFL magazines and has given seminars at conferences all over Spain. Before coming to Spain, he was a secondary school teacher in the UK. His interests include playing the keyboards and guitar and writing the annual Cambridge School pantomime.

Enri Garcia has worked at Cambridge School since 2001. She is one of our receptionists and apart from lots of other important administrative tasks, she is in charge of the accommodation for CELTA trainees. She is always willing to help out during your stay and you can approach her if you have any questions about Granollers.

Penny Doukakaros has worked at Cambridge School for four years, where she is currently Assistant Director of Studies and a level leader. She has been involved in teacher training for two years and works on the CELTA and DELTA courses. She has the DELTA (Distinction) and is particularly interested in helping advanced learners to ‘notice’ language.

Philippa has worked at Cambridge School since 2002. She has the DELTA and has been a teacher trainer for a number of years. She was the Director at our La Garriga school from 2004-2010, a post which she left to become a CELTA trainer.
