METHODOLOGY

The main aim of our Spanish intensive courses is to enable you to communicate effectively in spoken Spanish. For this reason, we focus mainly on speaking and listening in class. The teacher will speak Spanish most of the time and will try to avoid translating words and phrases, which can be counter-productive in the end. You will work with a variety of different materials, some created by our teachers themselves and others authentic or from coursebooks eg city maps, advertisements, newspaper articles, songs etc. In this way, you'll learn to cope with real Spanish as it is spoken in the street. However, we will also work on grammar, reading, writing and vocabulary; these too are necessary if you are to feel comfortable and confident with your Spanish.
