SOCIAL ACTIVITIES PROGRAMME

Our optional social activities programme is a great way to complement your classroom learning. It enables you to learn something about Spanish culture and history whilst at the same time practising the language. The activities take place every afternoon from Monday to Friday and are run by our Spanish social activities organisers. They're informal and great fun. At the beginning of each week, we'll give you a copy of the social activities programme for that week with prices. Here are some examples of the kind of activity we offer: accompanied visits to places of interest in and around Granollers and Barcelona such as the holy Catalan mountain of Montserrat, the famous 'Ramblas' in Barcelona and the buildings of Gaudí; cultural activities such as concerts, the cinema and Spanish films on video, typical Spanish activities such as visits to 'tapas' bars, Spanish dancing and music and other things such as games of pool, discussion groups board games and meals in restaurants. We also organise whole day excursions to places a bit further away such as the Pyrenees and the Costa Brava.

If you prefer to do your own thing such as go to the swimming pool or the beach, go to the theatre or the cinema, go to the gym, visit the sights or take a trip into the Catalan countryside, we'll help you with that too. We can give you information about public transport, car rental, typical restaurants, recommended weekend destinations etc.
