ENTREVISTA a la profesora Liz Perkus – nueva titulada DELTA

L’equip docent de Cambridge School està integrat per professors nadius i internacionals titulats, molts dels quals van iniciar-se en el món de la formació d’idiomes amb el certificat CELTA de Cambridge —el títol de referència per als professionals que desitgen ensenyar anglès com a llengua estrangera i la titulació d'ensenyament d'anglès més reconeguda i sol·licitada en centres de formació d’idiomes de tot el món.

 El títol DELTA: un nivell més enllà! 
Sempre a la recerca de l’excel·lència, cada curs hi ha professors que desitgen dur encara més enllà els seus coneixements docents i el seu desenvolupament professional amb l’assoliment del títol DELTA — diploma en ensenyament d’anglès a alumnes d’altres llengües (Diploma in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages).

El DELTA és exclusiu per a professors que compten, com a mínim, amb un any d'experiència en la docència de l'anglès i proporciona —als professionals que el cursen— destreses i tècniques avançades per a l’ensenyament d’aquest idioma.

Permet fer  3 mòduls formatius diferenciats:

- Module 1
  Understanding Language, Methodology and Resources for Teaching

- Module 2
  Developing Professional Practice

- Module 3
  Option 1: Extending Practice and ELT Specialism
  Option 2: English Language Teaching Management

 El 2026, 3 nous titulats 
Durant el curs d’enguany, hi ha 3 professors dels centres Cambridge School que han cursat i obtingut algun mòdul d'aquest prestigiós títol DELTA de Cambridge.

La professora Liz Perkus és una de les docents que ha obtingut un títol DELTA al llarg del 2026, i a la imatge que il·lustra aquest article la veiem recollint-lo de les mans de Sam Sayer, director de CS Granollers.

Ara, la Liz ha volgut compartir amb nosaltres la seva experiència amb una minientrevista que li hem fet en anglès.

 MINIENTREVISTA – EN ANGLÈS: 

1. What made you decide to take the DELTA, and which module?
I decided to take DELTA Module 1 because I was looking for ideas on engaging ways to teach skills like writing and listening.

2. What have you learned from the experience?
I learned really practical information about teaching grammar and pronunciation, as well as some history and theory behind language teaching approaches.

3. What do you feel it has given you that you can now put into practice at Cambridge?
I feel like now I have a lot more tools to reach for when planning lessons or explaining difficult structures.

4. Would you recommend taking the DELTA? 
I would recommend taking the DELTA for native speakers like me who want to expand their English grammar knowledge and pronunciation further than we did at school, and to have a better understanding of why we teach language the way we do.
