• Academic levels: We have 11 levels of English for adults, from beginner (A1) to proficiency (C2).  During the course, there are three hours of class per week, either in one or two classes. In each of the levels, the grammar and vocabulary is progressively built up alongside your reading, writing, listening and, especially, your speaking skills. You also get weekly homework and have exams on a regular basis.

• Official qualifications: Our English courses include preparation for the First, Advanced and Proficiency University of Cambridge exams. Plus, when you pass the course, you’ll be awarded a certificate from the University of Barcelona’s School of Modern Languages certifying your level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

• Specific courses: We also offer conversation courses for improving speaking fluency, Senior courses (55+), and specific courses for preparing for the First and Advanced Cambridge official exams.

• Level test: To enrol in an adult course, you need to go to one of our 10 schools to do a level test. The test is written and spoken, takes about 30 minutes, and tells us exactly what your English level is.

• Rebate on your course: If you're an employee, your company may be able get a rebate on the cost of your course through the public training and employment foundation the Fundación Tripartita para la Formación y la Ocupación. Request more information in your company or at reception at Cambridge School.

Courses run from September to June during the academic year, with a minimum of 5 and an average of between 8 and 10 students per class.
