Cambridge School offers teachers excellent pay and conditions and the opportunity to work at one of Catalonia’s leading language schools. Our unique offer to teachers includes a guaranteed number of hours from September to June, meaning they can work exclusively for the school and rely on a stable monthly salary.
We believe strongly in the value of continual teacher training and development and expect teachers to attend regular seminars on general teaching issues and monthly level meetings for each level they teach. Teachers are regularly observed by both senior teachers and peers. Teachers attend a 3 or 4 day induction course before the academic year begins and are also invited to attend a free 3 day training course for teachers of young learners.
To be eligible to apply for a teaching post at Cambridge School you must:
- Be an EU national or have the legal right to work in Spain.
- Be a native speaker of the language you wish to teach.
- Hold a CELTA (or equivalent) qualification.
Teachers meeting the following criteria will be considered favourably:
- Hold a clean, valid driver’s license.
- Have a DELTA or other advanced teaching qualification.
- Have experience of working with children or teenagers.
- Have experience of the world of business.
