CELTA and Delta qualifications to become an English teacher (TEFL)

Cambridge School, with over 5.000 students and almost 90 teachers, is one of the largest and fastest-growing language schools in Catalonia, as well as a TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) training centre. We have been an approved CELTA training centre since 2002 and a Delta centre since 2008. The CELTA course (Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) is an initial qualification for people who want to teach English as a Foreign Language (TEFL). It is aimed at people with little or no experience of teaching English as a Foreign Language. The Diploma in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (Delta) is aimed at teachers who have at least two years full-time experience of teaching English as a Foreign Language. Both qualifications are internationally recognised and are awarded by Cambridge Assessment English (a subdivision of Cambridge University).
